The going-ons of Reid

Okay, so this is what's been happening in the life of Reid. I've been working and it's been kinda boring but that's okay. I've been having to go around and label what each computer/phone port is and then take a little thing around to see if it's active or not. The problem is that most of the ports are being people's desks which coincidentally don't move for me see the port. Other events that have gone on are some classwork. For some reason it's taking me a LOT longer to get my assignments done now than it did at the beginning of the year. I almost think that my high school homework mode worked better. Somehow i still got good grades, even on those things that required insight and i was just blindly writing. But now things take longer and they get about the same grades. I'm not liking my math teacher, he thinks its a good idea when he makes up new things to do on the tests, that'd be great if we actually had seen problems like that in our assignments. I'm going to take some classes that will allow me to teach CPR and First Aid. So that should be pretty cool... should look good on a resume. I don't have any plans for this weekend but hopefully something will come up since it's halloween. Looking forward to the Oklahoma game. Later.

New Friend

Okay, so i haven't posted for a while, and i figured it was time to get one done. This may be one of my deals where i meet someone new and they seem greater than they are... but i met a friend that seems pretty remarkable. So this friend is a girl, but that is completely irrelevant. On Friday night there was a Neihardt camping trip. Long story short me, her, and a guy from my floor ended up sitting by the lake under the stars having one of the greatest talks i've had for a while. It was a talk that ranged from things about our past to our religious beliefs. It was remarkable to hear her story. If i didn't know her i would never have imagined her story. But since i got to talk to her i've discovered that she is an amazing individual. I have always believed that i have lived a good wholesome life, which i have. But i found someone who actually has stayed as close to the path as possible. I see very many similarities in me and her. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and it happened to cause problems. But she has made it into something that will help her become an even better person. I hope that this person is as great as they appear. Since nobody will probably read this let me know if you actually do. Talk to you all later.
