Pizza, yum

So today the football team went to Valentino's for team night. And all I can say is yum, it was delicious. And quite entertaining.

It was the battle of the bulge, who could eat more? Who would come out victorious? Would it be the 210 lbs. seniour out of Loup City, NE Jacob Pointkowski? Or would it be the 275 freshman of Ashton, NE Zach Parimski? They both rushed out of the gates with a full plate, each very close to the size of their competitors. This first plate was devoured in an instant. Then came plate number two, they were both too excited to even notice when the plates emptied, the addrenaline was surging and they knew that neither of them would turn back. Then came plate three, it too was packed beyond its normal limits, but that never stopped either competitor from engulfing the food, there pace was starting to weaken, but they were both fighting with full power. Then came plate number four filled with light desert, so they could remember what they were fighting for. At this point they knew that there stomaches were beginning to fill they then got a bowl of ice cream, with assorted toppings. they then faught through five more plates, and another bowl of ice cream. After suffering a possible fight ending brain freeze Zach offered a truce, what would happen? Would the mighty Jacob call this truce, what was going to happen.... Wait...... Jacob just denied the truce and said "I could go for a piece of pie".. and wait what was that Zach just replied "Pie is good". And they're off again, and what's this? They each return with a piece of pie AND a desert breadstick, just when we thought the action was over. On the way back to their seats Zach takes an early lead by taking a bite out of the breadstick, now they're both sitting, Zach has fallen behind and Jacob has finished his breadstick and begins on his pie, it now is dead even, then they both finish their pie. Wait.. what is this Jacob is now offering a truce.. we come closer to the action to hear what Zach has to say.. and .. HE ACCEPTS this battle has come to an end with a draw, after 10 plates and 2 bowls of ice cream the Battle of the Bulge has come to an end with the result of a tie. Afterwords both competitors slumped down, both worried that they wouldn't get out the door without losing some of their meal. They made it to the bus and during the ride they were both said to be in "better" condition. Thank you and tune in next time for our next battle.

Keep it real. Irish Midget.

Blog

I was bored so i was wandering the blog help menu and I discover what a blog actually is.
What's a Blog?
"Blog" is short for Web log, which can be anything from a news site to an online journal. Blogs allow you to instantly publish your thoughts and ideas from anywhere.

I just thought that those of you that have been losing sleep over not knowing what it meant would like to know. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

Bowling, Hamburgers, Camper, AND Steph, wow, what a night.

For anyone that doesn't know, which is probably not anyone reading this, we went bowling last night. I had a lot of fun. Steph it was great getting to see you and talk with you. You have to come back again sometime soon. So we can have some more fun. Kayla it was good getting to see you too, just don't come back too much, JUST KIDDING, it was fun having all of us (at least most of us) back together. It was fun bowling and the food was great, at least what was left of it after Holly was done with it ; ) .... and then hanging out at the Whoa was pretty fun while the rest of you decided that you would just drive by four times (oh, Steph when i acted like i was going to fun in front of the car, your face was priceless 8-0 ...... ) oh, then when we went to Steph's house Holly decides to look in the front door window to see if the rest of you are inside, they notice her and Mrs. Krueger comes out, then Maggie decides that she wants to say hi to Mark, I was afraid i was going to get "THE TALK". Then we find out that Steph, Kayla, and Charley are in the camper laying on the bed (as Maggie would say, having an orgy). Then Holly left : ( .... who knows if its the same sweet, inocent Holly that we all knew and loved before. For all we know she had a B-A-D night ; ), jk. And I had fun talking in the camper, even though talking about what happens on prom night isn't exactly the conversation I was expecting to have with four girls. Oh, what's the inside joke that you guys kept talking about? Whenever I jokingly said all my friends were lesbians, Steph and Charley would look at each other and say inside joke. Anyway, I hope that you got home without any problems last night Steph. And it was good seeing you Kayla. To the rest of you I'll see you tomorrow. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

Bowling?

I think that we're going bowling this weekend. On Saturday night. So I'm openly going to say that you are all invited (even you Sarah ; ) ....) It will be kinda like a welcome home Steph party, except that it wouldn't be much of a party and steph would be going back. It could be really fun. Oh, I might be getting a cellphone!! I've been thinking that for about 6 months now, but i think it might actually happen now. It's really cold and wet here, but yet we still didn't get any lightening outside, so we still had to practice. But i am getting out of a lot of the drills becuase of my hand, so my finger isn't all bad. I'm looking forward to bowling, where hopefully i'll see all of you. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

Giving you info on "THE FINGER!!"

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I'm letting you all know that i chipped my nuckle, and I stretched some ligaments and tendons in my 2nd finger from the left of my left hand, so I got a "soft cast" (kinda like a cast, but not as hard, and I only put it on for FB). It looks really bad though, when i take it off it looks like its flipping people off, its really funny. Steph, what are your plans for coming home this weekend? I think we should all get together and do something FUN!!! When are you ariving in Lincoln? Garett and Eryn are leaving Lincoln Friday afternoon to go to my game, and you probably would be able to go with my mom from Doniphan-Trumbell to L.C., so that's an option depending on when you arive in Licoln. Hopefully we'll win on Friday, SO NOBODY BET AGAINST US!!!! I don't know much else. Keep it real. Irsih Midget.

I saw Sarah!!

Yay! Today I got to hang around with Sarah and Maggie. (For those of you who dont' know, I mean Sarah Rogers, one of Maggie's camp friends from Sandhills, [We're trying to hook her and Jon up, but don't tell them ; ) ]) So Sarah was going to GI for a college fair, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to see Sarah, and for Jon and her to meet. But this morning when i tried to call Jon to go, he wasn't home : ( So I drove all the way to GI alone, because Maggie was shopping with her mom for Senior Picture stuff. So hung around for like 2 hrs. then we all split up, and I drove back home, again alone. I had A LOT of fun. And I'm really glad i got to see Sarah. Oh and I stole a bunch of pens from colleges, so it was fun. One guy told me that if I took the pen it would cost me two years of service, but I ignored him and kept walking, hee hee hee. The weather is really wierd outside, it's windy kinda dark, and extremely muggy. (muggy reminds me of the XC team now, because of their black sweats) OH, Maggie, Sarah, and I all passed the "BUCKLE CHALLENGE!!!" which basicly you have to go in touch the back wall of the store and get out, without out being asked if they can help you, try it sometime it's a real addrenaline rush. Anyway, I don't know much else, except for the fact that i can type with my finger!! Keep it real. Irish Midget.

My finger hurts

This is going to be a short blog, but enjoy what you get, because i'm using one hand. Last night was not a good football game. I dislocated my finger, so i had it taped to my other finger (to prevent it from dislocating again). Well it didn't work, i ended up having it happen again, causing it to break. So right now i'm icing my finger to reduce the swelling. I don't really know much else except for the fact that i'm tired because we had FB practice/film this morning at 9:00. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

September 15- The Day that Will Live in Normal-cy

Today is a remarkable day, not because anything spectacular happened, but mainly because it was a very relaxed, calm day. I'm glad to report that Jon wrote Sarah (well Maggie did, but Jon was there, and added a note on the end) and Sarah wrote Jon back (I don't know what it said, but i know that she said something about me pestering her to write, oh well it worked). I've been getting extremely sleepy from Football, but hopefully it will all work out for the best. For some reason since Kyle Holcomb is injured coach Bauer has made Kyle an honorary coach, and Kyle is milking it for all its worth, you can pretty much gaurantee that any drill that Kyle is in charge of is going to suck because Kyle will make it extra hard because he doesn't have to do it, the little piece of crap. Anyway, tomorrow we going up to the football field and the boosters are going to feed us (the stuff that they are going to have friday for the game), when I first heard this i got really excited becuase I thought we might actually get free food, but no they're charging us $5. So that really sucks, by the time I'm done with football I will have used all the money that i worked so hard for over the summer (maybe not worked hard for, but at least earned). I might have to get a part-time job just so that i can pay for the rest of the football stuff that my summer job didn't cover, let alone make a dent in the payments for college. Who knew that football was so expensive? The good part about my summer job was getting to swim. I wish that i could go swimming right now, I forgot how great it was just to be able to jump into the water and swim. OH, i about forgot we changed our corners for band and it's really funkey, i think it will work well, but its going to take us like five minutes per each corner, and that's going left, I have no idea how long it will take us to go right. I'm surprised Ms. Bejot isn't as insult crazy this year as she was last year, this year she says we're getting better, without the mentioning that we suck. Maybe its a new Ms. Bejot. Anyway I think that is enough meaningless jabber for one blog. I'll update whenever i feel bored, so expect one nearly every day ; ) . Keep it real. Irish Midget.

The search for Blue Skies has come to an end

Today I saw the bluest sky i have ever seen, which was strange being that it was cloudy, but everything had a bluish tint to it. I've had a couple pretty busy days, and football practice was really tiring. Seven of us had to push the dummy sled four lengths of the field, so my legs hurt really bad. But i was happy because coach Gilsdorf (one of the volunteer coaches, he' really cool he's 34 and married with 3 kids), and on the way out to the field he told me that i'm doing a great job as linebacker, so that made my day : ) Hopefully we'll win our game on Friday. For some reason the "Lovely Bunch of Cocoanuts" song just popped into my head. I don't know why. Calculus is crazy, and today Mrs. Chandler was gone and we had a crazy sub.

Now for some reason i'm going to have 15 motivational statements.

1) The only goal you can't accomplish is the one that you don't go after!
2) Just because you can't do everything doesn't mean you shouldn't do something.
3) When you shoot for the moon and you come up short, you still end up among the stars.
4) What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.
5) Go as far as you can see, when you get there you'll see further.
6) The problem with punctuality, is that nobody is there to appreciate it!
7) When your values are clear, your decision-making is easy.
8) Coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous.
9) Luck favors momentum.
10) The trouble with being in a rat race is that even if you win, you're still a rat.
11) Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick.
12) If at first you don't succeed, sky diving is not for you.
13) The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
14) Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a
lifetime.
15) No one fails a class anymore, they're merely "passing impaired".

I hope that this has motivated you to do your best, and work for world peace, if not keep it to yourself ; ) If you have any better sayings leave them as comments. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

Dawning of a New Era

Today is the day that it all begins anew. Actually, nothing is changing but i thought that sounded cool. I'm glad to see that all of you have visited the blog of The One, The Only, ME!!! And I know that Jon hasn't checked his email and until he checks it, and writes a few letters, he will be talked about in my Blog. I am having a great day for 3 reasons. 1) Because last night was so fun. 2) Becuase i have been able to rest up for this upcoming week. 3) Because I have been able to talk to so many of my great friends. 4) If you were paying attention i only had three reasons that i'm enjoying today, so there is no purpose for the number 4, it is just here to keep you on your toes. I hope that i will have a great week this week. All is well in the Land of the Bubbles, and hopefully in the future there will be one less bubble. (if you don't get this, ask Maggie i think she will understand, and possibly be able to explain, give her a lot of crap about popping the bubble as soon as possible, even if you don't understand) My plan for destroying this bubble is time, because over time the bubble will most likely pop, because we all know from blowing bubbles that they don't last forever. I would also like to coment that there is someone trying to take my life, by having an interest in Maggie, and by talking about Mr. O and Mr. McConnell (which you all know is my dad) in his blog. If you know this Andre character i would advise you to tell him to stop, before he has an "accident" (Steph knows what I'm talking about) I cannot realease any more info in this blog post, so you must stay tuned for my next addition. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

I felt left out

Hey everyone, I felt left out not having a blog of my own, so i created one. I really doubt that it will actually have much posted on it, but if you ever get bored you can check it out. I decided I'm on computer enough that i could have my own blog, to make Steph and Holly's seem less significant ; ) . I wish Holly would quit making bets against the football team, because i blame her for our losses. Right now i'm devising a strategy to get close without having the bubble alert go off, it will be difficult, but i believe that my smooth operator testing will come through in the end. (I think you all know what i'm talking about) I wish that everyone was constantly on messenger like I am. Well i don't know anything else so i'm gonna quit. Keep it real. Irish Midget.
